Just a little tidbit of information for those interested.

Before you charge your new phone completely, tap into BATTERY and look at your “Last Charge Level”. It will show the date the phone was last put on a charger and mine happens to be 9/8/2018. So production on my phone(AT&T Xs Max 512gb SG) specifically was as early as that date.

Can’t recall the site that looks up your serial number for the exact live date, but this should suffice for anyone interested.
