My Photoshop Element 6 won't update Adobe Camera Raw

I bought the PSE6 for mac and hasn't used it much until now. I realized that the ACR is only 4.3.1 and wanted to update to the latest version.

First, I tried to use the adobe updater, it found ACR 4.6(even though it's not the newest verison). It was able to download it but failed to install. Stating" The updater is unable to locate the product to be updated."

Then I tried to download the ACR 5.4 from the Adobe website and it won't even try to install it but just stating that I have to quit the installation process.

I even reinstall the PSE 6 just in case there were some glitches but still facing the same problem.

Anyone can help on this? Thanks for your time!

I have the same issue. It tries to install and I get the failed to find the product message and I also get the successful message. I don't use that function anyway so I haven't been concerned. I use Capture NX2 or Aperture.

Thanks so much! It worked. I just didn't think that I need to do all those extra steps. Good thing to know.
