So I just recently upgraded to iOS 5 and absolutely love it - one problem though, all of my playlists that are sorted by date (most recent to oldest) are now reversed, and I can't seem to fix them.

I've made sure they're the way I want them on iTunes on my Mac, but no matter what I do they still sync oldest song to newest, which kind of inhibits me from listening to my newer music in the right order (ie. "Purchased" playlist.)

Anyone else experiencing this same problem? Am I doing something wrong?

Cheers

Hmm, maybe Apple will fix this in its next update?

I can't think of anything else that could fix this problem - but in the meantime, I can't really use any of my playlists the way I intended to use them. Oh well!

Yeah it's a big disappointment for me. I have to hunt the playlists just to find what I want. It's been doing it throughout the iOS 5 betas as well.

Go back to alphabetical like iTunes does! I have playlists that have an asterisk to keep them at the top, and it doesn't do that on my iPhone anymore.

Speak up!

I have already filed a bug report with apple a few days ago. There is another thread discussing this same issue.
