My Plight (paying for iPad)

Hello All-

Please don't consider this a stupid or un-necessary post, even if it's my first one.

I've been a mac person for the past two years, with a Macbook Pro, and iPod Touch (will get the verizon iPhone when it magically appears), and recently an iMac.

I wanted the iPad the second it came out in January, even leaving classes (still in High School) to go to the office to read live-blogs.

So, I naturally offered my parents a sweet deal to see if they would let me get the 16GB 3G one. I said I would pay for half of it, and could owe them more money along the line, and they would supply the other half to allow me to pre-order at as a birthday present. My birthday is on June 6th. My mom is all about "delayed gratification", when i'm like, "i worked hard to earn the money to pay for half of it. (I've done some video editing for like bar/bat mitzvahs, and will be working this summer). I even offered to tie the 3G payment to my debit card, which is connected to my own account.

The point i'm trying to make is that, I want the iPad, and my parents are being parents. UGH.

While I can see your disappointment.... I'm afraid to tell you that as life goes on they (disappointments) usually get more and more tragic to the point where a 'problem' like this isn't look upon as a problem at all...
