I pre-ordered a silver 256GB XS Max on 9/16 via the Apple Store app. My delivery window was 10/1-10/8. My order status just changed to "preparing to ship" which surprised me since today is 9/20. I was also charged the tax on my credit card. I wonder if they are moving the inventory quicker than expected and I'll get it early? One can hope!

Mine also changed to Preparing to Ship this morning, delivery date of Oct 1 - 8. Currently investigating some issues with my card since my card was compromised in a breach yesterday so I had to replace it but Apple doesn’t see anything wrong with my order, so here’s hoping all goes well and I get my shiny new phone next week (fingers crossed)
