My replacement DVDs just arrived... three months later

Back in August, I needed to reinstall OS X, and when I went to do it, I discovered I had two Disc 1s. I contacted AppleCare, and I got them to send me some replacement DVDs. Something got screwed up, and nothing was mailed. I got on their case, and several weeks later, it was finally mailed and arrived. I reinstalled OS X, and that was that.

Today, I got a package from AppleCare. My original replacement DVDs just arrived today.

Truly bizzare.

Ahhh communications break down. At least you did not have to wait until now to get you computer up and running.

Sounds like a mail delay for sure.

It once took about 90 days for a package to go from Japan to Korea. The package had been sent around the world before it went to Korea.
