so today I grab my iPad and as I am Checking email i notice that my screen seems not as bright as usual. I check settings and brightness is set to max as always and that auto dim feature is off ( I always have brightness set to max and auto dim off )

is this possible that my screen all of a sudden could do this? I did a reboot just incase and check all settings and still it just seems darker to me.

it's 2 weeks old today 32gb wifi 3G model.

nope not jailbroken never was either. did nothing different woke up checked my email all seemed fine. played a movie for about 20 mins battery was almost drained..so I put it away to charge, grabbed it to do a few things and noticed it seemed darker.

Thats odd... when what you just mentioned happened to me it made my iPad go brighter and the screen began yellowing. (When we compared it to the models in the apple store which were all set to full brightness mine was freakishly much much brighter)

But it only happened after the iPad ran out of charge and i charged it up. The one I have now has not had any issues

went to the apple store and they didn't notice how much darker it was to there floor models which I found odd, it was much darker. they did a restore and still the same issue. they said they had no 3G replacements so i said ok i ll take a refund since i was on day 14 then they ran in back and brought me out a replacement. haha. yeah it was a brown box but no biggie. the screen is much better. lets see if that holds up.
