Sounds like you better hang on to the 11 MBA just in case

If I dont care for the 13 MBA I will just keep the 13 MBP.

Can I have your job? :D

All joking aside, I think you will LOVE the 13.3" MBA. :)

Which job? :D

I think so too, see how it does with 1080p video clips from my Panasonic GF2. I run them thru clipwrap and then iMovie now and the i5 in the 2011 MBP does pretty well.

If all else fails, then there is always the iMac to process the video files with.

Great choice! I think you'll really like it.

After going through a hell of a lot of Mac's myself and can say the 13" MBA is my favorite by far.

There's an 11" in our house too, (wife's) so I can use it if I wanted ... after the 'cool factor' wears off I quickly realize the larger screen is better for almost everything I do.

Enjoy!

Make sure you get a MacBook air with discrete vs integrated graphics like the new sandy bridge ones will have :p

Good thing I jumped in February and got the fall 2010 revision MBA

I tried to talk the wife into the 11" air, if she gives up her ipad 2. Not going to happen.

Just curious.... how did you play with the 11" MBA if you never opened it?

Sounds to me that you don't know what you want, and have the means to get whatever you want. Probably good you're not into cars.

At the local authorized apple store.

I have only paid full retail on both of the ipads, everything else was bought slightly used on ebay (27 iMac) or from one of the ebay daily deals (both 13' mbp's and 11 MBA.) 13" MBA and AE are apple refurbs. Staples had some crazy deal on the iPod, got walmart to match that.

That way when I sell something, the loss is very minimal.

Cars I drive for 10 years.
