They just received it today. I'd been having this problem for the past couple of months where the computer would just stop responding for 30 seconds or so, then it would let me work for a few minutes, and then it would do it again...over and over. I tried wiping the OS, swapping out RAM, repairing permissions, running Techtools, and fsck -fy. Nothing...just random slowness.
I'm kind of excited though; I'm hoping it's going to not only perform better when I get it back, but that the heat problem will have been reduced. The tech on the phone specifically asked me if it's been running hot, and I told her that it does run hotter than any other Alumnium 'book I've used before.
