My Sound Output Moves To the Right...

And I don't do anything. Once in a while I'll plug in my speakers and I notice the right speaker is louder and I go and change it in preferences. Why does this happen? Is there a keyboard shortcut I'm pressin that I don't know?

I did this a while ago, and went crazy. I couldn't figure out what was going on.

System Preferences > Sound > Output > Balance.

Yea I know how to fix it I just don't know why it happens. First few times I thought it was my speakers.

G5s too, its a software issue thats been around for ages that comes and goes. used to be a script called "balanced" around on the web that could fix it but i can't seem to find it as of right now, if i find the link i'll post it though.
