My Steam is terrible.

Just got my Macbook Pro, and I downloaded Steam, but every time I open it up and try to do something, I'm forced to force close it and get the option of sending a report. What's the deal here? It's upsetting me that my brand new Mac is acting up.

Should I delete and reinstall? I don't want my new Mac to act like this already.

It's a Steam issue not a Mac issue. Uninstall (clear app support and prefs along with binary) and redownload.

If that doesn't work try the Steam-support, but the mistake shouldn't lie on your Mac.

For the OP, I just installed Steam on a new MBP and no issues at all. So it is possible.
