alright, so, I've asked a lot of questions, but now I have the most important one I can think of. Let's say that, hypothetically, I have tv-shows on my harddrive.... now, I would love to have them on my new iPod. The question is, is the "export --> export to iPod" solution ( http://www.apple.com/quicktime/tutorials/creatingvideo.html ) in Quicktime 7 Pro going to be able to do this? If so, it may be a wise decision for me to just go ahead and buy Quicktime 7 Pro.
Thanks for the help, and the tolerance. (I wish I had a mac.... would make things easier in these conditions.... only waiting until Mactels)

Now, that brings up another thing.... can the ipod play only iTunes .m2v music files? I thought it could do .mp4's as well...
