My wish for iTunes

I'd like the following feature implemented (for the iPod, too):
When a song is highlighted in any playlist, ctrl-click/right-click on it and get the option to
"Show this album" or
"Show all of this artist"

That'd be great! It happens to me so often that I come across a song while playing in shuffle mode and want to listen to more of the same album/artist.

I'm not the only one with that idea, am I?

leave feedback on apple's support site. hopefully if enough people chime in the feature will be implemented. although its lacking some features that many of us have wanted for a while now. such as gapless playback. etc.

I just sort my library by artist and then on shuffle when I hit a song it's right by all the other songs by the artist..?

Yes, and get the small hack that "reverses" iTunes Music Store links (so that single-clicking on them shows the artist in your library, and option-clicking uses the iTMS), since it's a lot more efficient.

Been using this hack for months Good stuff, and a wonderful feature.

To do this, open Terminal and write:

defaults write com.apple.iTunes invertStoreLinks -bool YES

(NO to get it back).
