Myspace freezes my safari

to begin with when i went to myspace on my mac it was fine, all of a sudden it goes to myspace and gets so far and just freezes is it because i have added a windows video music player on there?
Is safari the best internet browser to use on PowerPC G5 i have read so much on it quite confussed now?

its when i go to certain pages mainly mine!!
ill give firefox a go thanks.
