Hello folks!

We are not short of shooters, hackers and slasher games on PS5.
But what I am missing is a few laid back head scratching mystery puzzle games.

Games with a good story, lots of puzzles, and a good atmosphere.

Do such games even exist? Or are we forever doomed to fight with swords and throw spells of varying kind in new wrappers?

Games with a good story, lots of puzzles, and a good atmosphere.

I played these on PS4 and PS3 but at least the PS4 games should be playable on PS5.

Flower (innovative graphics and gameplay)
Journey (made by the same studio as Flower)
Untitled Goose Game (HONK!)
Manhunt (just kidding)

The Witness is also on Playstation (I know 4, not sure if they did a PS5 update).
The Witness, is sadly not one game I like. :(
The puzzles are repetitive, in that they are just bigger, more difficult version of themselves. To me that is exaclty what a game should NOT be. :(

The Forgotten City is a good one, I think it's quite undeservedly overlooked!
It Takes Two is phenomenal as well, though it's not exactly Myst-like (but it is based on puzzles)

Obduction and Firmament by Cyan are both available for PS4 and hence playable on the PS5.

Viewfinder has recently been released (there's also a demo if you want to try it beforehand).

And there's also Call of the Sea.

Viewfinder has a demo, as you say, so time to play :)
