So, I have chatted with Apple Support a few times over the past couple of days about various issues I've been having with my new iPhone SE and I eventually ended up scheduling to send the phone in for repair. I dropped it off at the UPS store this morning, but a bit later in the day I got this a strange and unexpected shipping notification.

It seems to be coming from Apple itself, and the strangest part is that it's being overnighted. Anybody have any thoughts on what this could possibly be? I know it is coming tomorrow, whatever it is, but I just can't help but ask.

I haven't ordered anything from Apple themselves.

Looks like a phising email. Do not click "Preparing for delivery", or send any data.

Glad it is real. I get all sorts of "delivery notice" fake emails, some even try to appear from apple asking to reset Apple ID, etc. I usually can check the sender though.

So, after all that, what was it?

An update would be appreciated after everything.

It was a new iPhone SE. He sent his in for repair, but Apple doesn't repair. They replace.

Obviously it was a trap all along, hence the silence. The OP's brainwaves have now been stolen, and added to The Collective.

I'm never clicking a Fedex link ever again.
