Mystery Shared Disk from Mac Server

I have a Mac Mini setup as a server on my home network (It's just running Snow Leopard) and attached to this is a Western Digital MyBook 1TB external HD by FW800.
I have shared the WD HD (Let's say it's called MyDisk) so both Mac and Windows PCs can see it.
When I look at my server from my laptop I see the server and under that are 2 drives.
One is called MyDisk and has 143GB and a folder called "Drop Box" in it with nothing else.
The other is called MyDisk-1 and has all the contents of the WD hard disk as I'd expect.
I have very little installed on the Mac Mini, just PS3MediaServer, Squeezebox Server , I've setup a 300GB sparesebundle image so I can Time Machine my MBP to it, and that's about it.
I have NOT installed the Dropbox application.
I have looked through the WD hard disk in Finder and used Houdini to show me hidden files and I cannot see where the extra drive is.

It's not causing me any problems, but I'd love to know where this drive has come from and if I can get rid of it to keep it all tidy.
Does anybody have any ideas for me? (I've not found anything on the net about this)

This generally happens when something tried to write to the disk and it is not connected.

To fix this:

1. Disconnect the external
2. Open Terminal
3. Type ls /Volumes you should see /Volumes/MyDisk-1, if you see /Volumes/MyDisk, make sure it is disconnected and unplugged from the machine. If still there, append /Volumes/MyDisk to the command below.
4. Type (sudo) rm -rf /Volumes/MyDisk-1 (this may require admin privileges depending the permissions of the disk, add sudo to the front of the command if this is the case.)
5. Type ls /Volumes again, you should not see anything related to MyDisk
6. Reconnect your external when complete
7. Type ls /Volumes, you should now only see MyDisk and not MyDisk-1

Really odd. With the disk connected there's no trace of MyDisk in /Volumes
With the disk connected only MyDisk is listed (Plus local HD), there's no sign of MyDisk-1

After a but more fiddling, I traced it to the $home/Public folder being shared as MyDisk and the HD being shared as MyDisk-1

I removed all listed Shared folders in the Sharing part of System Preferences, then just added MyDisk, Public folders was automatically added and MyDisk and MyDisk-1 were listed.

I then removed all listed shares again and rebooted the machine.

I can now see MyDisk (No MyDisk-1) and I can access the drive fine. If I look at the drive info for MyDisk on the Mac Mini it's not shown as shared even though it still is.

Anyway it seems to be working for me fine now, thanks for the help.
