MyWi Updated for 3.1.x - No Go for Me

Not sure how many of you have been waiting for RockYourPhone to get MyWi compatible with 3.1. Well, it's here tonight and I have to say that no matter what I do I can't get my home pc to connect to the internet. My pc appears to connect to my phone wirelessly as a modem, but I can't open browser pages.

Pre-3.1, MyWi worked great for me. I was able to share my connection with multiple pc's, iPod Touch's, etc.

Anyone else having issues?

3G running 3.1.2, 32gb.

Update: After several self-invoked resprings, MyWi appears to be working now. I am currently posting on my home pc using my iPhone as my internet connection (wireless to pc). Glad to have this app back!

MyWi has also resprung my iPhone several times but it is working. I haven't played with it that long so I can't say for certain if it's going to be as good as it was before on 3.0

I guess I'll soon find out.

MyWi 0.97.1

I am sticking with the older version of MyWi for now. However, I have to reset my Network Settings after each use of MyWi in order to send multimedia messages (MMS).

Can anyone point me in right direction with the proper network settings to avoid having to do this each time.

Wow. Another update within hours. Was hoping this would fix all the resprings, but no such luck. This thing is buggy as hell.

Are you having to reset your Network settings after each usage of MyWi?

is MyWi 0.97.1 supposed to work on a 3.1 iPhone ? It's not working for me

If I use either mywi or the native usb tethering, in my network preferences I see the iPhone but it is "not connected"

I've jsut tried the trial version of mywi v 3.3.1 and it also doesn't "connect". Any ideas ?

I had the exact same issue however after a restart tethering was actually gone as an option for me (as if AT&T somehow checked over air). I dont have a solution for you sorry, just giving a heads up I have the same issue

I will try to install OS 3.1.2 to see if it helps.

EDIT I just tried again with OS 3.1.2 and still not working

well I found the problem ! In the Advanced options of my Bluetooth (in OSX) the "Share internet connection with devices" was disabled. Even if I want to tether only via USB, it looks like this option has to be enabled.

MyWi seems to be crashing on my iphone during the registration process for me. I tried reinstalling but the same thing occurs. I am on PDANet with the trial version and it is working flawlessly. I am thinking about purchasing it; however I also already have Netshare and was wondering if Netshare works as well as PDANet?
