n more disk space !!!

I have just attempte to publish a new page on my web site and ... iWeb claims I have no more disk space. It recommends I either delete files, re-assign iDisk space or pruchase new disk space.

Fact is, after checking on me.com I discover I have used only 28MegaBytes of the 20Gigabytes.

I think there is a little problem here, especially if Apple induces customers to purchase un-necessary disk space by miss-leading them.

Dismal, Apple, that used to care for details is losing its savoir-faire.

Have you checked to see how your disk space is allocated?

Yes I did check, and that's how I found out I only use 28megabytes.

Of the 20 gigabytes 15 are for the web site.

I have solved this. It is a BUG.

If your internet connection filters out something (I suppose certain ports), iWeb will see a good internet link and will try to publish but fail. However, rather than to say it cannot publish it actually issues a message that you have insufficient disk space.

This is a very misleading message, because some people may be enticed to purchase more disk space when in reality it it iWeb that is issuing an incorrect message.

For those that have the right technical competences, I observed the error whilst using the iPhone tethering facility, and the problem disappeared when I got home onto my normal DSL line.
