Hey guys. We had an old router that seemed to **** the bed last night. Bought a new belkin n600. I have wifi on my macbook but the apple tv won't connect to the internet. It says it's connected to my network but not the wifi part. I called my local internet provider and they said the signal going to my house is strong so that doesn't seem to be the issue.

I'm on the verge of taking my non tech ass to apple to buy an airport extreme. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Did you set up the password for the new router's wifi connection in your AppleTV? ATV may be looking for the old router to connect?

I called apple and I guess there are Ports that have to be opened on non apple routers ie: my belkin. So I had to call Belkin India and that phone call was a 30min ordeal to set it up. It's working now finally.
