Hi guys,
long time reader first time poster.
I have recently jailbroken my phone and i have tried to use a sim from a different carrier and it has worked. I tried yellowsn0w but this was unsuccessful.
any clues as to why or what i can do to fix it.
Im in Australia if that makes a different
Cheers Sean

Do you mean it has not worked? If it worked, why do you need yellowsnow?

What do you need to fix? What model of phone, what firmware, what computer / OS are you using?

I am not surprised, though I say it is more of a lucky occurance than anything else.

My iPhone 3G on 2.2.1 could run on a softbank (japanese carrier) SIM card even though it is only officially unlocked to my own carrier back home. Even the agent from my carrier can't explain why it can work, except to offer me advice that I am apparently not an isolated case.
