I just installed windows xp today and it's working great, but on the finder the the windows disk is named untitled. And looking in the get info bar it doesn't seem as if you can change that, anyone know if you can??

^ Change the name of the drive in windows ;)

Click on my computer, right click on the C: drive and choose rename.

If you don't want the windows parition/drive to appear on your mac desktop screen simply suffix the name you give it with a fullstop

so

.windows HD for example.

thanks for that. Easy when you know how. I notice in windows next to the time you can right click and restart in osx. Is their a quick way to do this from osx to windows or do you have to go into system preferences?

just to be clear, and pedantic; MacRumorUser means prefix the name with a .

Yep. When you boot hold down ALT ;) You can then choose which you want to boot into. If you have an apple remote you can even hold down MENU on the remote and do the same thing :)
