iPod Nano 6th gen... Remote

Ok guys,
I am wondering if anyone out there has had any experience with a wireless remote and the new nano... I am replacing my wifes 3rd gen classic with a new nano. She uses it her car and its plugged in the console and then she uses a remote to change songs. Looks like the pin connection is the same but nobody seems to know if one will work. thoughts or experiences?
