iPod Nano "Apple Store Exclusive"

I was looking at the new nanos on apple's site today and i noticed that underneath the yellow and red nanos it said "apple store exclusive." i know that the red nano is linked to the product red camaign, but what's up with the yellow? here's the link...

Because they are so awesome they blind anyone that beholds them. If they were sold in every authorized distributor, there would be an epidemic of blindness! Can't have that.

There hasn't been any reasoning. Some are playing jokes suggesting Coldplay's Yellow or Yellow submarine. But, we really don't seem to have an answer. As for the red one, it says Product Red on the website, but if you look at the back of the actual iPod, it says nothing of Product Red.

I can't see any logical reason for that other than they may have had a small production run on that fugly color.

Apple Store Exclusive usually means that you cannot buy them at a retail store.

There is nothing YELLOW about this color btw.... it's GOLD.

Ye gads, not what i was expecting at all! The colors are definitely NOT close to the old ones overall. My child that hates pink, wants the magenta one! LOL!!

At least we got to see them at the store (not on display yet, just on a counter with a guard
