Anyone purchased these yet? Sold out in the Apple store in Australia. Keen to try a couple in the bedroom.
I know they work better with HomePod mini but does it matter if that mini isn’t in the same room?

I have three of them and they're very nice. And no it doesn't matter if they're in the same room.

So I got a couple of these today. One just doesn’t work won’t connect to the system. The other is very slow responding to everything. I have a mini not in this room but the one next to it, is there anyway I can see if they are using thread?

Put the bulbs in the mini room and try. My bulbs will be delivered today so I am waiting to try.

I got my bulbs. Have one in a room without the mini in the room too and it works fine

I gave up on them, will return them and got some LIFX instead they seem much better. Way more responsive and both of them actually registered which is obviously a bonus.

Must of got some faulty ones.
