Impossible to say.

Nanya makes some decent RAM.
But whether the one you are looking at is correct or not we have no way to know.
Does the seller guarantee it will work in your Mac? Does it come with a lifetime warranty and a no cost return for refund if it doesn't work? Is the seller a reputable company or some random dude on eBay?

Well if it is genuine Apple memory, it is either not sealed in a package (because it has been pulled from a Mac) OR the seller is some kind of almighty fool for buying high priced Apple RAM after the purchase of the machine.

I think he is fooling you, saying it is genuine Apple but really its third party RAM 'same as' what Apple uses. Plus if it's genuine Apple it will only have a 1 year warranty, if any.

Anyway, the answer is no, if it is some guy selling it, then you would be better spending just a bit more and buying from a reputable company, where you'll have some assurance of replacement if it is bad, and a lifetime warranty.
