Hi All, I am trying to setup a Mac Mini (intel) to be a sort of low-use server. I wiped the drive clean, installed 10.5.8, and set the Energy Saver options to never sleep. Despite this, it would fall asleep after a while, even in the middle of a task running in the terminal.
I tried resetting the PRAM, resetting the SMC, using pmset -g to verify the settings, and even tried running "pmset noidle" in a terminal.
Despite all this, it still falls asleep after a while. I does it both when it's idle and when it's running things. I don't think it's overheating, but I'm not sure how to tell after it's re-awoken from sleep (it's in another room so I'm not watching the monitor when it goes to sleep).
A cursory examination of the system logs shows nothing strange or suspicious. There is no panic.log.
Any ideas? I have read about others having this same problem, but a solution is never listed.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
