NAS Drive: Which Format is Best?

Hi there,

Have just bought an Icy Box NAS with 2 x 1TB Drives nestled within which will be a RAID 1. The Icy has a little linux network thing going on.

For a OS X only network, not needing to use Time Machine on this drive what is the best format to use?

EXT2, EXT3 or FAT32?

The clients that connect to the NAS will not see or even be able to tell which file system is in use. But still use "EXT3"

EXT3 is all around better then the others. It is a modern journaled file system that works a lot like HFS+ and will survive power failures and has very good performance

I thought that justw anted to make sure I wasn't doing anything the Macs wouldn't be able to to se!
