Don’t know if it’s native, but I’m using (and have been using for many years) Ka-block! And can’t claim it’s a resource hog.

iPhone version works great too.

I’m not sure if it’s native but I’ve been using Wipr for iOS and Mac for years now and it installed and seems to run fine on my M1 Air.

I like Wipr also and it looks like it is a Universal app.

seems to work well, thanks !

works with YouTube on safari too, where previously it didn't with adguard

1- Is it worth it to you to buy the iOS app for $1.99 too? been using Firefox focus on iOS but not married to it
2- does it do a better job at stealthy blocking ads without the prompt notifying you you're using an ad blocker, or the same as the alternatives?

Yep... on the App Store.

They also have an iOS app that is a seperate purchase.

I do occasionally get those "we see you are using an adblocker" popups and I don't know of any way around those any more. Same with YT ads.... they are served from the same YT domain, so indistinguishable from the real video you want (so I have read).

I like Wipr because you can set it so you manually refresh the block list, and by doing that there is no app running in the background. It can optionally run in the background and auto update if you prefer.

just checked out a YT video or two, and its just a blank white screen in the video box saying 'skip ads' and for videos that are hours long that have ad break spots in the duration, didn't seem to be there/

either way though, happier. with adguard, YT was completely broken and unusable on Safari

and peace of mind of Universal app vs. intel

Do you think its worth it on iOS as well though vs. some free options?

Reason I love AdGuard over any other option is ability to block page components from loading...

I even have it activated on Google search page where I "erased" everything apart from search box and Google logo...

On Reddit page - I block most right part of the page containing ads and useless links not relevant to my feed...

Its absolute blast

1 blocker performs great and does the similar skip ads box on youtube. Ive been using 1 blocker for years on my iPhone and Mac. I never saw even 1 ad. It works great.
