Anyone else thinking of matching natural titanium on the watch and phone? I haven't been able to find any good videos comparing the finishes. Can anyone comment on the natural titanium finishes match on the watch and iPhone? It looks like the new titanium series 10 has a polished finish that won't exactly match the iPhone pro. How is the AWU's natural titanium match the iPhone natural titanium?

I have a new iPhone 16 Pro with "natural titanium" finish and want to get an Ultra 2, but in surfing on it I find references to both a "Rugged" Titanium finish and a "Natural" Titanium finish. Is the "Rugged" term referring to an older Ultra finish? The Apple site only shows 2 finishes: Natural and Black.

In theory at least since my iPhone 16 Pro is described as having a "Natural Titanium" finish, and the Ultra 2 also states "Natural Titanium" they should look identical, right? But the colored buttons on the Pick screens for each are clearly not alike. Very confusing.

I still haven’t seen them together to actually compare but I believe they’re all different finishes (the iPhone pro, the AW ultra, and the AW10). They all come in titanium but the aw10 is polished, the iPhone is some sort of dull finish, and the AWU has a more rugged finish.

Hmm I don't have an Apple Store near me but maybe Best Buy or Spectrum Mobile or etc. have all on display...

Since surfing some more on this, not only have I found the AW Ultra in "Rugged Titanium" and "Natural Titanium" but also noticed some are labelled as "Silver Titanium". Crazy.

There are only two finishes on the Ultra 2. The natural titanium on the iPhone is smoother while the finish on the Ultra 2 has a slight grainy texture by comparison.

Never having owned an Ultra before, I suppose it may also be that the older version(s) of it are slightly different.

Wife wanted and got a Black Ultra 2, but I want a "natural titanium" and I suppose at this particular time the only way to get the absolute latest/greatest would be to buy from Apple. We have Spectrum Mobile and I'm suspicious that they, and other retailers like Amazon, may have stock that is not recent. 🤔
