I currently have an iPhone XS Max and I can no longer use face ID to login to my natwest bank app, I have no options to enable it either and I have tried deleting and reinstalling the app.

Anyone one else with an XS or XS Max that uses natwest have the same issue?

App worked perfectly with face ID on the older X.

Also face ID works fine everywhere else.

As far as the app is concerned there is no difference between TouchID and FaceID, and by extension FaceID on the new phones.

I've had the iPhone X for a year and face ID worked fine. The XS the option to use it is completely missing for some reason.

Was just wondering if anyone else had a similar issue on the new phones.

I have an iPhone XS and have the same issue. I didn’t have the iPhone X before though, so I thought it might have had to do with the fact I restored my XS from a previous phone without Face ID (although I used Touch ID on my old phone). Also tried reinstalling the app.

It’s good to know they are aware and working on a fix though - I’ll just have to stick with using my passcode for now.

ah ha! so its not just me going mad then. I was looking everywhere in the app settings trying to find the option to turn it on. Ho Hum, back to passcode it is then for now :-(

They've just released an update - notes advise a fix for Face ID

Updated and Face ID now works great, they fixed that pretty quick.
