Navigon - 2nd (or 3rd) in Navigation Category - Paid Apps

Looking at the Navigation category in iTunes (8-2-09)....Navigon MobileNavigator North America is showing at 2nd, but in the iPhone 'App Store' under Navigation it's listed at 3rd.

And.....Navigon MobileNavigator Europe is showing at 74th (in the U.S. iTunes App Store).

Either way, you gotta believe that TomTom (and probably even those subscription based TBT apps) are kicking themselves right now.

TomTom... They already missed out on a huge market. They've missed all of the summer travelers taking driving trips.

I purchased Navigon for my canadian vacation trip.

Navigon is now in 1st place:

Navigon is number 1 in the USA AppStore.

Unless TomTom brings something to the table that is SO much better than Navigon, they won't catch up. He who hesitates is lost.
