Since updating to iOS4 Navigon has display issues with the panorama 3D mode. It now has double street names and poi's. If I turn it off and use the normal 3D, all returns to normal. Has anyone else observed this problem? I will probably try to unistall the panorama 3D add on, and then reinstall it to see if that helps.
Please check it out and see if your Navigon has the same problem. Thanks.

Yup, i have this problem also. I've left it on 3D mode for now.

Navigon recently demonstrated its iOS 4 multitasking features so hopefully the whole app is updated to be more iOS 4 friendly.

I have navigon, what is the panorama 3D mode add on? I know in settings there is a 2D, 3D switch? is that what you guys are talking about? or is it something else?

Panorama is an in app purchase for ten dollars that displays 3D with the correct topography. It is a great feature, but now we will have to wait till it is fixed.

Panorama view issue

I have the same problem. If I turn off panorama view (switch to 2D), then go back into settings and switch back, it will work until i restart the app.

Looks like I will be in reg. 3D mode until they update.

Panorama Issue

Same problem since upgrading to iOS4. Re-install of the app didn't help. Downloading the in app purchase didn't either. Too bad I lost all my favorites!

Is this not in the MyRegion app?

Edit: guess it's not. Wish I could find a contact email for Navigon in the US to send them a request.

I have the full app but I don't think it works in regions either. Good luck getting in touch with anybody at Navigon.

I don't have their e-mail, but I have had good success contacting them via http://twitter.com/NAVIGON_US. Also, they're on Facebook, and reply to comments/questions there as well.

I asked them last week, and they said that they'll be submitting their update to Apple within the next few weeks.

What happened to their ios4 update? They showed a video of it ready then nothing. In the mean time Tom Tom have released and update for ios4 already.

From the Navigon FB page:

Hi All, we understand that you are waiting impatiently for the new
update 1.6.0. Please believe us, our dev team is working almost 24/7 to
provide you with some great new features. We are asking for your
understanding. Complex applications (as ours) sometimes need a little
bit more time for the developing process. But we are pretty sure that
you will love the upcoming update. Thank You!

Also from their page:

Dear MobileNavigator iPhone users, the current version unfortunately doesn´t show a proper map image when using Panorama View 3D under iOS 4. This is a known issue and will be resolved soon in the upcoming update. In the meantime we recommend to use the “standard 3D” mode which is fully compatible with iOS 4.

[sarcasm] Then hire some TomTom developers since they can do it.[/sarcasm] It's been over a month since you previewed 1.6 and it still hasn't even been submitted? Looks like you must be having unforeseen issues to take this long. Any time line on when you expect submission of 1.6? Guess you need to move to a 25/8 work system.:D

i dont work for navigon, just posting information from their FB page since most people seem to not know it exists.

that said, i'd rather they take their time and do a correct implementation rather than roll out an update full of bugs that need patching. My biggest pet peeve these days is that everything seems to be in a constant state of beta..i like the idea that they are taking their time to do it right.

new iphone 4 in Tom Tom car kit

Will the new phone fit/ work with the Tom Tom car kit that has the gps chip in it?

Thanks, this is exactly what I was looking for. While not the information I was hoping for, it is at least something of knowledge that they are working on it.

I had no issues. Did it on two of the iphones in the family. Click buy and it knows you have already purchased them and offers to download them again for free.

have you guys had issues restoring purchases? people are saying that they can't restore traffic or panorama 3D view...
