Hey all,

One of the things I don't ever see on my Navigon when driving is "Lane Assistant Pro." It's supposed to be that little mini picture of lanes on the bottom right corner of the iphone (not to be confused with "Reality view" which takes over the whole screen and shows lanes to be in). I was really looking forward to this feature and while in a somewhat large metro area (Columbus, Ohio) it has never once appeared. Has anyone else noticed this issue?

When I put Navigon in Simulation Mode in Chicago, IL, it does pop up a few times, but never does in Columbus. Reality view pops up at most interchanges and exits I need to take, but Lane Assistant Pro never does.

Anyone have any insight as to why this is, and maybe a better explanation of what Lane Assistant Pro does and how it is different from "Reality View Pro"?

I have the latest version w/ Traffic Live feature on my iPhone 3GS.

Thanks!

Comes up regularly for me here on I-95 and the Turnpike (primary freeways I use) in South Florida.

Is it freeways only?

And I drive on major interstates daily for my commute, it never once comes on. I even turned off "Route Info" so that nothing was in the bottom right corner, which I thought may be "potentially blocking" Lane Assistant Pro from showing. But to no avail.

Going to Chicago for Thanksgiving, will have to test it in Chicago and Indianapolis as I drive through.
