Wow nice. Although I think they should just set the permanent price at $70 and free map updates through 2010 at least. At that price, they will own the market since iGo MyWay is $10 more and the other competitors are sure to be less full featured or cost more.
The main downsides I have seen about Navigon's app are that the Maps are old, no TTS, a bad POI database, and text that is difficult to read on daytime maps.
Question on the 'outdated' maps. Navigon owns Navteq (or so I've read).
I've been testing this app pretty much every time I get in the car and have zero problems with it. It's accurate and easy to use.

Navigon have.. its coming in the next update for people outside the US, and after another update coming in the US shortly, which people outside the US got over 2 weeks agoiGo has said it's 'in the pipeline,' while Navigon hasn't said.
This should be a sticky somewhere:
Voice navigation: "Turn left in 100 yards"
Text-to-Speech: "Turn left on Baker Street in 100 yards"
Navigon and iGo My Way both do Voice Navigation, but not text-to-speech, which is synthesizing road names into speech. iGo has said it's 'in the pipeline,' while Navigon hasn't said.
Nokia owns Navteq. TomTom owns Tele Altas.
I didn't realize that Navigon didn't own it anymore. That was sure a short ownership period. Navigon bought in 2006. Nokia in 2007.
