Anyone find the volume level of the Navigon voice navigation too quiet? I really can't make out what the lady is saying without turning my in-car stereo volume all the way down.

I'm using the English voice and I know it's quiet because when I switch to the Slovakian voice it's almost 2-3x louder.

Anyone tested this and found the same thing as me?

Have you messed with the volume settings in the app itself? What about the actual iphone volume? Mine is perfectly understandable. I have the app vol. turned half way up and my vehicle's volume on low. Might try deleting and reinstalling the app itself.

If this is while you have it hooked up via USB to your car player, unhook it then you can go in adjust the volume, then hook it up again to the USB connection.

1) I have tried messing with the volumes both in-app and on the device to no avail. The english voice is too quiet period. It feels like the gain knob in the studio was turned way down for this particular recording.
2) I do not have it connected to anything, just using the iphone speaker.

Have you guys tried to switch to another language (I only tried Slovak so cannot vouch for the others) to see how loud the app REALLY can get if it wants to? :)

globalist, what you need to do is...while you use Navigon, when you hear female voice (ONLY when you hear the female voice)--*immediately* volume up on your iPhone...DONE...

Again, it could only be adjust when the female voice is spoken.

I have know this "trick" since the first day I bought the app.

To tell the truth, I have jailbroken my phone since the last time I checked the Navigon voice levels and it seems fine now. Strange. Looks like I made another uselesss thread :)

But thanks for your help anyways!

Toss, thanks for putting this out there. Even if the OP knew it, many don't.

I also 'discovered' this when 1.2 sounded so 'quiet' before (even with the app volume up).

Since there is no documentation for Navigon on iPhone, I am hoping this helps others as well.
