Navigon w/ Traffic Live and Restoring

I was recently advised by Apple to restore my iPhone due to some odd behavior. I had purchased Navigon and its Traffic Live extra. Once the iPhone was restored, Navigon was downloaded but not the Traffic Live extra. There is a button now under extras that says "Restore Purchases," but when I press this, I am told that I must purchase the extra first. Does anyone have any experience with this and can help me with this problem?

I just "bought" it again. After putting in my apple account info it told me I had already bought it and that it would be downloaded for free.

Thank you, LordHamster, for the info. Have you received the emailed receipt without another charge? I'm afraid of doing this for fear of being charged again!

i had to push the 'purchase' button again after upgrading to 3GS ... and same message popped up as lordhamster, and then I saw a $0.00 transaction come through my next receipt ...

me three, but for UK post codes extra! I was also a little concerned as it appeared to be saying it would charge me, but bit the bullet (as full uk post codes are just £1.19!) and the next screen informed me the download was free so all is well. Had to do it twice and now don't think I have been charged yet!

I'm not sure what is going on with my Traffic purchase. I'd originally purchased it when I got the navigator application itself. Now, I go to extras and It has Navigon Traffic Live and lists it at 24.99. Underneath that, it has "restore purchases" I've pushed restore purchases several times, but nothing seems to happen. When try to purchase the Navigon Traffic Live again, it just brings me to a screen explaining what it is. Not sure if that means I already have it, or if something is wrong...

This is different than my experience ... since i've owned Navigon w/ traffic on 3G and transfered to 3GS and reloaded Navigon a couple of times on each device ... i've hit the Purchase Traffic a couple of times, and it reactivates on the device w/o charging me ... and most recently, i hit the Restore Purchase and it activated traffic again ...

here's what i would suggest ... delete app, do a master reset (home button and power button for 10 sec), then re-sync app, then do a master reset again (just gives you the cleanest start to using app), then open navigon and check traffic ... either purchase again, or restore ... since there is a record of your purchase on iTunes (which you can double check purchase history), you shouldn't get recharged, and if you did, you'll be able to handle w/ Apple support.

again, i have not heard others w/ this issue - you should be able to get is active again ... good luck
