it also has a preference setting where you can set which network do you want the phone on

2G/3G only 3G/LTE 2G/3G/LTE you get the idea

Be advised, this update broke NCSettings on my 4s. After installing the update I resprung, went into the NC to check things out, and my phone instantly began this strange long boot process. It then booted up, I presume in safe mode, except it was different than safe mode because it was missing "Exit Safe Mode" at the top and several icons were missing. I then hard reset and it booted just fine. Checked NC again, instant safe mode. I uninstalled NCSettings and things are stable again.

TL;DR, don't update NCSettings until the bugs are fixed.

+1
That being said, I don't know why 3G/LTE would be important. Go fast!

Sorry OP I posted a similar thread. My bad! I I experienced immediate crashes upon installing 1.7. So I immediately paraded a thread. Didn't think someone would start one so soon. What's weird is, I've been reading and posting here for the past 45 mins or so and my first page of threads had only a few bold which means I read almost of all of them. I didn't see this thread and started one of my own. That was a boneheaded move on my behalf haha.

If any moderators are reading this, feel free to delete or merge my thread with one. Thanks!
