Nearby just reappeared again for Canada (and I assume most other countries as well)

Well, just checked my Proacyive Search screen and once again Nearby is BACK. I wonder if it's just a one day tease again like last time. Like the title says I only know for Canada, but I'm sure other countries as well like last time.
 
Not for me in the UK unfortunately. And on top of that News suggestions have disappeared. So it's regressed here/for me.
 
Nearby not showing up for me yet in Australia on the proactive search screen, however I am getting it in Maps on my iPad (which was just like last time), and not on my iPhone at all.

I think it will probably show up at some point. I didn't have Nearby about an hour ago and it just popped up.

News suddenly disappearing for you (UK) could be a sign they are playing with the switches getting Nearby turned on for UK.

News just came back and I've been checking it most of the morning :O

Same for me but I was commented on it disappearing this morning

This thread is about Nearby place suggestions, which was in the UK for betas and removed on the public release. It has come and gone since. OP says it's back for Canada which may indicate it coming to UK again soon

News has always been available to most countries in the Proactive screen. It's the Nearby that was available all summer during the 9.0 beta. When 9.0 GM got released on September 9th it vanished for everywhere except the US and China (according to the apple services page.) Two weeks ago during 9.1 beta 2 Nearby showed its head again but only lasted 1 day and was gone again until now.
 
Nearby has once again appeared on my iPad and iPhone on the proactive search screen here in Australia.
