That's so strange it's gone in the GM and that link only showing two places. When it was available throughout the entire beta. I hope it comes back and isn't limited to countries.

Wow that makes me upset so much, it disappeared for me a couple days assuming it was just a bug. Now GM is out and most they disable it for everything but China and USA?! WTF!!! It was so working so find in Canada.

I'm in Canada also and it worked throughout every single beta and lost it switching to GM today.

I sent in feedback from the beta profile feedback app. Hopefully more people do the same.

There is a strange workaround. You do a nearby places search in a supported area (e.g. US). Then if you move the map to e.g. Germany and touch the search bar you can use the feature on unsupported countries.

It's a very common problem.

However thanks to the magic of Apple marketing, they've got ushers hoodwinked
