Nearly got charged for 'free' app in App Store

I know it's not alot of money but when some apps can cost up to 99€, apple can't make these types of mistakes.

Maybe the developer changed the price.

when a developer changes the price, it doesn't always reflect on the first page. It takes a while for it to sync up

i clicked on the purchase from the main page where it was reflecting free............

so i take it then it wasn't free but i got charged? time to contact apple then?

actually i just checked my purchase history and wine pad is listed in my purchase history under the Free section, so i think i'm fine

It is always wise to spend the extra 5 seconds double checking everything, you do not want to jump the gun right away without looking, but you do have a point. But if you did get charged for it, then you could always hit the "Report a Problem" button in your purchase history, from what I have seen, Apple takes those cases very seriously, and almost always favors the customer, especially when it is a low price.
