Found this very nice compact stand. Works very well for my iPhone 5, case or no case, vertical or horizontal. Mainly got it for my iPad mini, no case. No so well for my larger, no cased iPad...but they claim works well for larger iPad with Smart Cover on.
Gives me a way to store the ear pods. Very small. Two models one for older earbuds and for the newer iPhone 5 ear pods. Got the blue one. Works for iPhone 4,S too.
