Need 256GB SSD for my 2009 Mac Pro

Can anyone recommend a high quality SSD drive for my 2009 Mac Pro 4 core?
I currently have 16 gig's of ram and use the machine for Photoshop CS5, and Aperture 3.
I just picked up a brand new Hasselblad H4D 40 (40 MP camera) and have noticed the larger files slowing the computer down.

Also where does the SSD drive go? I have all four HD bays currently occupied with conventional HD's

You can put the SSD in the second optical drive bay and connected to the extra SATA port on the logic board. Not sure if there is a SATA cable already there for you.

Intel makes good SSDs that are popular for boot.

I hear the ones from OWC are pretty good as well.

I have a 2009 Mac Pro 8 Core 2.93Ghz and 16GB RAM (like you).

I just ordered a couple of SSD's for it.

Main OS & Applications: OWC Mercury Extreme Pro 240GB
Work Project Files: OCZ Vertex 2 120GB
Media & Storage: Western Digital Caviar Black 2TB.

I'm mounting the SSD's using the OWC Drive Mount so that I can simply slide the drives into my Mac Pro like I would with regular drive sleds (only they will be blue rather than silver).

I'm really looking forward to the boost in performance.

I considered buying an ATTO PCIe 6Gbps SATA controller and then buying the newer 6Gbps drives, but they are slightly more expensive, plus there were some fiddly things to do to actually mount them and boot from them. (www.barefeats.com has info).

Pretty sure my new setup will make my 2009 Mac Pro feel incredibly snappy - even tho it's no slouch by any means as it is.
