I guess this is my first post on here (account got deleted), but I have a big problem. My old mac has a dead logic board and I have no clue where to buy another or how I could fix it. Its a late 2001 SE model and I cant find any of the 700MHz motherboards anywhere. I press the power button and the green light on the board turns on and then if I hold the power button it flashes when it turns off. How could this be fixed/Will someone sell their logic board to me to fix this mac?

Scroll down on this link to motherboards. Advertising 2001 SE at $60.00. Good luck. New they are available at dvwarehouse in CA at over $300.00.

I'll definitely have to give that a look, $60 sounds way better than $300!

There might be people out there able to fix it
Do you have any suggestions? Kinda at a loss at the moment :/

Maybe try the Rossmann group?

Someone who does motherboard repairs should be able to help, although 2001 will be tricky.

Otherwise that $60 logic board replacement looks like a really good value.

Check eBay. I bought a 700MHz board to upgrade my graphite 400MHz several years ago and paid a whopping $17 for it. It’s a very easy swap.
