Hola, I just got my 17" MBP two days ago and I'm very happy with it so far. The LCD lighting is a bit off, but if you look at it straight on you can hardly tell anything is wrong.

Anyway, I bought a STM Large Loop (from the Apple Store) for a backpack to bring my Macbook with me as well as some other things like notebooks/books, external hard drive, anything of the like. It's a sick backpack... but when I put it in the area that's meant for the computer, it doesn't quite fit comfortably. The corners of the computer buldge so that you need to pull the backpack over it so that you can close it... not something that I'm necessarily happy with. Plus I also got an InCase sleeve for more protection, but with the small compartment and sleeve put together, you cant close the zipper at all.

So yea, basically I need a better backpack. Something that'll fit my MacBook Pro comfortably with a sleeve, and still have room for other things. I would consider getting a over the shoulder type thing, but I would prefer to have a backpack. Thanks in advance.

Have a look at the STM large convertible. It uses Velcro rather than a zip. I don't think the sleeve should be a problem.
