I'm not really picky. But when I watch a video and then I'm interrupted, I want the video to start to play back where it left off at. That's pretty much all I need. Any suggestions?

Tried the automatic feature by closing it in multitasking and then opening it back up. Still worked!

video player

Recently started using nPlayer and I really like it, has the feature you want and even supports almost all video file formats, and subtitles. :)

MX is good, but doesn't work on Lollipop yet.

VLC is the best option.

There's no VLC player for iOS (at least I didn't see one), I think they removed it. That's why was looking for video players and got to try a lot, including MX Player, good features but was a bit confused with its UI.

They are quick to fix bugs also. I remember once when KitKat was updated, it broke some functions and within a few days, it was fixed. Well worth the cost to get rid of the ads as well.
