I'm not really picky. But when I watch a video and then I'm interrupted, I want the video to start to play back where it left off at. That's pretty much all I need. Any suggestions?

MX Player seems to be what VLC for Android should have been. Great UI, great and useful features.
Tried the automatic feature by closing it in multitasking and then opening it back up. Still worked!
Another vote for MX player. Been using it faithfully for years, especially love the gesture features.
Tried them all BS Player, VLC, Dice, Mobo, etc. but MX Player Pro is the best for compatibility and streaming over WIFI.

There's no VLC player for iOS (at least I didn't see one), I think they removed it. That's why was looking for video players and got to try a lot, including MX Player, good features but was a bit confused with its UI.
They are quick to fix bugs also. I remember once when KitKat was updated, it broke some functions and within a few days, it was fixed. Well worth the cost to get rid of the ads as well.
