So I am not over here often, but I am over by my local Apple retail store. I have my 16" M1 Max with me and I wanted to ask if you guys could take a look at the plastic covering over the hinge (below the chin of the display). Mine is wavy, and you can see the edges of the trim which almost look in spots to be either curling up or they were just not cut very well for the fit.

I normally do not shake a stick at reasonable imperfections and as of right now I am not going to return it but I was just curious on if anyone else noticed this on theirs. It is one of those things that you do not see unless you look for it, but once you see it you can't unsee it if that makes sense haha.

Thank you.

The edge of the trip as seen on right hand side, visible in spots on yours? I believe that is an edge that should be tucked under the chin as the remainder of the edging is.
