im in highschool and i want to post my iweb site online, right now im using a .mac trial to do it, but time is running out and i need a host! it has to be free because money is not something i have just laying around.

please, just a free host, hopefully with no banners:confused:

Sorry to say but free + addless doesn't seem to exist these days.

No banners = no money for the host = host disappears along with your site.

Perhaps you could ask your parents if they would mind paying for you (throw all the educational aspects of having a site into your marketing pitch and the fact $30 or so per year is a minimal amount ;)) or alternatively, Christmas is coming up. ;)

Look at http://www.sitesled.com

I've never used them, however some nut in my home town has had a website on there for a couple of years. It's always been up when I checked it. They've got strict rules about porn, piracy, music, downloads, etc., but they are free and (they say) they won't place ads on your pages.

Might be worth looking into. But read their Rules & FAQ's closely first.

... anyone know of a free hosting site that supports PHP?

Yahoo's one (Geocities?) used to, they used to give a free mysql database too, no ads. But then one day they put on a frame at the right hand side.

Have a look at www.k1z.com

They offer cheap packages and my site has never been down either.

That one looks good

I'm a firm believer in the "you get what you pay for" line of thought, but my experience with them was positive. Nothing special, but nothing negative either.
