I’m a sales rep that drives a lot for work, and while driving I’m on calls, obviously I can’t take notes. So looking for an app they can easily record phone calls, so I can reference follow-up items. My phone is not jailbroke, and the apps that are available seem very convoluted, needing to put a call on hold, call a separate number, etc. I don’t need to record all phone calls but the option would be nice, mainly just a quick way to start recording the call I’m currently on. I know there are several options out there if I was to jailbreak but I understand there’s some security risks when jailbreaking, and I haven’t app for my corporate email that I believe monitors jailbroke phones. Can I install Cydia without jailbreaking.

I’ve read a few articles were you can add Cydia without jailbreaking… Is this even possible? I would consider jailbreaking but as you can imagine I have a lot of concerns regarding security, etc.

This is where android comes in. If I were you I would upgrade or sell the iPhone and buy an android phone. There's no need to root(equivalent to jail breaking) for recording phone calls on android. It'll make your life easier.

Why did you post in the jb section then?
It's not possible without jb and you cannot add such hacks without being jb.
Try one of those ear speaker recorders instead if you want to stay on stock firmware.

This is dependent on the model. Nevertheless, the Snap805-based Note4 (that's what I've been using for making phone calls) running both KitKat and Lollipop can record calls just fine without having to root, even when using wired/ BT headsets. And it's 100% working - I've never had a missed recording.

No, it's not possible to install Cydia without jailbreaking, and anyone saying you can install Cydia without jailbreaking is a scammer. You will find that 100% of such sites either send you on a wild goose chase down email signups and "questionnaire" fillouts, or ask you for money. For the past 6 years or so, Cydia has been essentially synonymous with jailbreaking (though they are not necessarily the same thing, all jailbreaks in the past many years, maybe since iOS 3, have installed Cydia).
