the ability to merge midi data/tracks ( merge tracks which have the same software instrument)
has to be included in any upgrade. You may have a good loop or a midi track but need to add
data to it. e.g. a drum track needs an extra rim shot or crash or tambourine added to original loop or track. HOw does one do this without using up another track/s. You could end up with 5 drum tracks all
with the same software kit each with different instruments.
drum tracks are vacant boring and lifeless without adding rolls fills etc to it.
INFLEXIBILITY WITH the tracks is one of the biggest problems with GB and is starting to limit my use of it. RECORDING to the tracks after a mistake is made is time consuming and cumbersome. The track will not add data to it.
copying a source tracks data erases the merged to, destination track.
punching in or out is impossible.
This could be the end of GB for me until they put these features in .
